Why are you closed so early in the season?
Our last open day of the 2024 season was August 4. Season dates and hours are posted in March when pool passes go on sale. Splash Country is part of the Fox Valley Park District, which co-operates and staffs two other pools – Phillips Park Family Aquatic Center and Vaughan Aquatic Center (indoor pool). Most of our lifeguarding staff are college students who return to school in August. Available staff are consolidated to Phillips Park pool – which opens later in the season than Splash Country – allowing that facility and all its amenities to stay open through Labor Day weekend. All Splash Country Water Park season passholders have access to Phillips Park pool all season long. Click here to see hours for Phillips Park.
Can I buy my tickets at the admissions window?
Yes! Tickets will be available for purchase online and at the waterpark. To ensure your admission for the day, we recommend purchasing your tickets in advance online.
Do you have deck chairs?
Yes, we will have deck chairs available, however they will be limited. Guests are welcome to bring chairs into the park to ensure deck seating.
Do you have a concessions stand or vending machines?
We do not have a full-service concessions stand in our park but we do have a snack bar that offers a variety of snack options including beverages and ice cream. Guests are able to bring outside food into the park or have it delivered to our gates by a food delivery service. All beverages must be unopened and store-bought – no fountain beverages will be allowed. Food delivery staff cannot enter the park but will meet guests near the designated food pick-up areas. Our staff cannot accept deliveries.
If the birthday party area is not reserved, can I use it?
Yes! If the area is not reserved, guests are free to utilize the tables however we ask that you do not close it off for private usage unless you have reserved it.
